ok so, need a new journal, even though the last one went OH SO WELL.

alright, my mom had been diagnosed with breast cancer about a month ago. its stage 3, which is just one step away from being completely terminal.

today was the day she was supposed to have her surgery. i was pretty nervous about that, but i have AMAZING NEWS.

they didnt find ANY cancer in her lymph nodes, the cancer is just localized in her breast. that means all they have to do is lop her boob off and shes cancer free. im not sure if theyve done the surgery yet, but im happy to know that she has a really high chance of surviving this. after this is just a couple weeks of recovery, and everything will be back to normal hopefully.
